Grateful to be a Vancouverite; Becoming an uncle
Hello everyone!
We are officially halfway through Summer! I’ll be honest, I’ve just been “booling” (as the frat guys say) since the last update. I realized that despite all my time traveling internationally, we are truly living in a playground of adventure right here in Western Canada! I’ve never been so grateful for my mom’s 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe with AWD.
My main hobbies during college can be summed up as eating, drinking, and… talking. Episodes of gaming. Those were great for mass appeal, but I missed out on going deep with like-minded hobby communities.
Lastly, I’ve been designing clarity on the lifestyle I want in the long-term future, which is thankfully one tangible result from this gap year, amongst a sea of immeasurable outcomes. My friends are starting to wake up to this as well, so it’s been a lovely discussion topic for us.

This is the one time I will be making a photo exception. I’m excited to see her grow week by week!Calgary Trip: “Visited” abandoned offices, swam in glacier lakes, drove by a cop who shot a deer on the highway - typical Calgarian lifestyle.
Stranger Danger: Hitched a ride with an absolute stranger on Facebook on a three-hour journey to Mount Cheam. Luckily I brought my powerlifting friend from last month to act as my bodyguard.
Stranger Danger Part 2: I was on a treadmill at my local community centre when two police officers came in and tackled a 6’3 giant at the squat rack. They wrestled, cuffed him, and that’s why I ran a 10-minute KM (for all my Apple Fitness folks.)
